About MD Blueprints

About Us

MD Blueprints, a medical billing company, was started in 2012 by Brian Shaw from Roseville, CA after working in the medical billing industry for the previous 10 years. With over 25 years of billing experience dealing primarily with internal/family medical doctors in the greater Sacramento area, Brian has developed a deep understanding of insurance carriers in the region. MD Blueprints has been working with SCC and Hill Physicians version of EPIC since 2016.

Our Rates

Our medical billing services are based on a percentage based rate that start at 8% and can go as low as 3.25%. We base our contract on a tiers based revenue scale so the percentage adjusts based on the monthly revenue of the practice. The more you make the less we charge.

Manually fold and send out patient statements

EPIC uses a statement processing service that is less expensive than manually processing statements in house.

Call patients to collect balances

We're not a collection agency but we can recommend one

Send Appeals for non-contracted insurance plans or non-medically necessary

We help you understand your contracted insurance plans and how to bill claims so they're paid.
